OK, first of all, is an agave a fruit? If not, WTF is it?! Second, the agave prices have taken a massive slide recently because of over-production. Drink 1 gallon of tequila a day if you want to. Just somebody do something to help these poor agave farmers. Their going to go bankrupt if we don't buy their agaves. I read in a local newspaper about the poor farmers who thought, back in 2000, that they would become rich from their crops. So then they overplanted and now there are so many agaves that no one will buy, so the growers aren't getting any profit.
