Depending on the check engine code--and especially if the check engine light is flashing instead of just steadily lit--you might be in a so-called "limp mode" which in many cases includes a 2500 RPM limit on the engine RPM's. If that's actually the case, then the jerking and skipping you may be experiencing could be the fuel cutoff at the maximum RPM's allowed in limp mode by the ECU. Keeping the RPM's below the fuel cutoff point will allow the vehicle to continue almost normally. The most important thing is to find out what the check engine codes are, to find out where the problem(s) may be. There may be one code stored, or there may be multiple codes stored.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
