Want to trade trannie

I have a Studebaker t 86 3 speed no overdrive I removed and replaced
with overdrive. I would like to trade it for a  fordomatic for a
Flathead v8 Ford. I have heard the Studebaker auto transmission was the
same as Fordomatic. If that is so, does anyone know if the bolt pattern
where it bolts up is the same or just internal the same?
