Harry Flashman was a liar, a fraud, a coward, a bully, a lecher, a
cheat, and many other things besides that a Victorian era British
officer and gentleman was not supposed to be. His various awards and
plaudits, including a Victoria Cross and a Congressional Medal of
Honor, were undeserved to say the least
