These are the same sorts of folks who listen to Rush Limbaugh, but are not above taking corporate welfare for their businesses, accepting FEMA aid when their houses are flooded, writing their congressman over proposed cuts in Social Security or applying for college aid. Most Americans are practicing liberals whatever their claimed political stripe. That said, racism is a core right-wing tenet...you can't be a racist and still be a true leftist; it's an absurdism. And, the aggregate right is racist, no getting around it...that's simple empiricism. Watched the 'Pug Iowa caususes a few weeks back...the racism against the Mexicans was as palpable as it was sickening...Tancredo the Creep himself showed up wearing full bigot regalia. > -- > http://www.xoverboard.com/cartoons/2007/070416_argument.html Great link!
