CEPT <sigh> for hubby again

We were concerned recently that his sleeping by day, wakeful all night,
dizzy spells and slurring might mean another stroke coming, so just
yesterday we talked to the doc at the VA clinic. She told us that if he
has problems, not to wait, just get him to the local ER and let them
arrange for transport to the VA hospital.

Hubby, who absolutely hates hospitals, woke me up this morning asking
for an ambulance. His gut had been giving him pain for a couple days.
Now it appears his gall bladder is badly inflamed, and an operation will
be required. We're both scared - his health is already shaky, so an
operation is not a happy thought :-(

I just came home to collect a few things and have my first food of the
day, and now I'm headed back to see what is being arranged.

Callahanians have come through for us before, so I'm asking for healing
strength again! Will follow up as I have news.
