CF62 Siemens Suite - won't work on win 98SE?

I have the software for the Siemens Data Suite that I believe claims
to work on Windows 98. I am installed it on Windows 98SE and no matter
what I have tried it can't access the cell phone (CF62T (T FOR T-
Mobile).

I have it running succesfully on a Windows XP, but I would like it to
run on an older laptop which runs Windows 98SE.

It wants to use COM4 on Windows 098SE, and COM 5 on the XP. That is
about the only difference I can see. The data cable I got for it
claims it works for Windows 98 so I don't believe that is the problem.

Any suggestions or alternative software to use? Thanks!
