Backfired Atheism

interestingly enough, the word " Atheist " appears in the Bible but
once, and is found in Eph. 2:12 and rendered in English...
" without God. "

what this term " without God " means is explained by the words of
Jesus Christ who said... " you do not believe because you are not of
My sheep. "  Joh. 10:26

it's not that the Atheist doesn't want God, it's that God doesn't
want him.  his unbelief is the result of being passed by for
salvation.  note what God has to say through His people about those
whom He's passed by...

" The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers
of iniquity. "  Ps. 5:5

" God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every
day. "  Ps. 7:11

it is apparent that the Bible does not teach " God loves everybody "
as the modern day Evangelical types like to portray Him.  God hates
the wicked and their ways as these two verses, and many more,
indicate.

so, while the Atheist in his own mind thinks he's put one over on
God, he's completely outwitted by the very One he thinks he's
spurning... why do you think He's called " Almighty " ?
