It is heated by blowing hot air in the roast-chamber, however the
beans are always in contact with hot surfaces such as the glass or a
metal-inlay. This is some kind of "hybrid" system between drum and
fluidbed.

Simply becaus the roast went different than exceptect due to various
reason, for example ambient temperature, humidity, another "batch" of
the same bean or whether the roaster was in use for a hour already or
not ;P.

I think i would buy it again. Simply becaus there is no small
wellpriced drum roaster out there (except for the behemor which is not
using a hot-solid-drum).
