Sam, I too was a Gevalia fan, until the product seemed to change, and
not for the better.

If you are not interested in home roasting, as I now am, my suggestion
would be to find a neighborhood coffee roaster and try that product. Be
certain that the item which you purchase has been VERY recently roasted
(withing a couple of days is best, and I hope that you have your own
grinder. Even a whirly blade type will suffice.

My personal rules:
Grind only what will be used today, or more likely for the current pot.
Keep 1 week's supply on hand.
Gevalia coffee is stale before it gets to your home, it is over priced
for the quality, and I believe that it is now brought to you by the same
people as Brim, and Philip Morris.(hold the cream and an extra dose of
cancer)
