If the pump is ok, what do alt.c Silvia owners think of the portafilter
pressure guage mentioned in this article http://preview.tinyurl.com/3mg8db
Is it worth spending $30 to get one? Useful for setting the brew at say 9.5
bar?

Whilst on the subject of OP valves, would a piece of grit or scale, stuck in
the PO valve spring, cause the valve to stick open?
