Silvia water change

Following discussion here, I have switched from reverse osmosis filtered
water to bottled spring water in my Silvia.  I add water in the amount that
I have used daily.  My question is, how often should the whole water
resevoir be emptied and cleaned?  I have been doing this weekly.  Is that
often enough?
