true, its probably a human trait. but, to turn your country over to
demagoguery for gain, is a invitation for disaster.

i see very little difference between fascism, which is conservatism
in decay, and hard line left, which is really conservatism in decay.
in either system there can be no change, and almost all of the wealth
and power ends up in the hands of a few.

democracy is still the best system around. remember, hitler nor
mussolini ever won a majority. even bush did not, nor pinochet or
thatcher.
