This simplistic view is nonsense.

For a program to be true freeware it as to be:

Free to use in private and commercial settings.
Free to redistribute as long as you don't charge money for the
distribution or try sell it.

It cannot impose further restrictions: registration, time-limited (ie
Demo, Trialware), feature-limited (ie Crippleware).

As you see, the programs distributed by that site don't fulfill none of
the conditions.

The site owners don't claim that they are distributing freeware, neither
should you.
