Account of my trip in Eastern Turkey

I enjoyed a deeply Middle Eastern country when I visited Eastern
Anatolia in the summer of last year 2006. I wrote a diary trying to
remember my impressions of a trip that touched Mardin, Hasankeyf, Van,
Kars, Ani, Yusufeli and Amasya among others, starting and ending in
Syria.
I hope it can be useful to anyone planning a trip in these regions
where you can get away from the mass tourism sadly experienced on the
Turkish coasts...
