There aren't any sides to the matter, except that I'm siding with the
guy who isn't complaining. Sean Connery got to play one of the most
memorable part in a movie series ever. Honestly, he didn't put up with
an overwhelming amount of crap.

And, gah, given what McGoohan has said over the years, for not having
been involved, maybe the movie-going fans rather lucked out by not
having the Great Man play our hero. He thinks he's Orson Welles?
