[F]Blogging from the DW Convention

Once again, there will be an opportunity to follow some of the
activities from the Convention weekend as members report back via the
Convention blog:

Last time attendees reported on events as they happened, uploaded
interviews and photographs and reported on their personal experiences
for all to read.

Anyone is welcome to contribute articles either by:

- direct submissions (a user will be supplied)

- emailing the article to attendee2.dwcon@blogger.com

- by supplying the text for later uploading to transcription (there will
be limited help available for this, more details will appear on the
Voodoo board at the event, any additional volunteers for this should
contact me at registration).

The hotel has wifi available for those of you with your own kit
available. (rates seem to be standard for hotels but sharing a card is
usually possible).

We would like to produce as wide a range of articles as possible from as
wide a range of people (yes first timers this means you as well!).  What
to write about? Well off the top of my head:

-  programme items
- events
- gophering
- Sator Square
- your journey to Hinckley
-  why you travelled so far to come to a DWCon
- who you met
-  what it was like to present a programme?
- the guilds
- etc

In short its up to you.


If you haven't yet asked to be added to the Convention Blogroll and
would like to be added then please mail me at the above address.

If you would like to add an item before the event then use the mail

You can write about your reasons for going, are you a 'discworld
widow/er', how the travel has been so far (at least one member is
currently struggling from Cape Town amidst delays), whether or not you
have been before, which programme item you particularly want to catch
item if applicable and pretty much anything else convention related.
