George Bush used his family connections to jump the waiting line into a
safe spot in the Texas Air National Guard so he wouldn't have to go to
Vietnam.  Someone else went in his place.

George Bush decided that he didn't have to obey orders to have a flight
physical because, well, because his last name was Bush.  Go ahead and
excuse him because *he* didn't think his training made sense.
