Used to subscribe to Clara News which had decent retention etc (my ISP,
BT used to barely manage a week retention and posts were missing etc).
However then BT went with Giganews and now I no longer pay anyone else
and retention is brilliant. On this group for example the oldest post I
can see right now is a John Twernbold one from June 2003!!

For interest its a reply to 'try Out' who asked for a key for Half-Life...

Ahh, "help". You mean, give you my CD-Key since you lost yours, knowing
that I won't be able to play Half-Life online anymore since a given key
can only be used by one computer at a time?

Tell ya' what: I lost my credit card over a year ago. Why don't you help
me by giving me your credit card, and in return I'll help you by giving
you my CD-Key. Deal?

BT don't often get anything right but they certainly did get this
provider right...
