It is sort of sad to see poor old McCain besmirching himself and descending into the muck at the end of his career. I regard it as the influence not so much of Rove as the Fundamentalist jihadis he brought on board with Palin -- you can see some of the rank and file croaking about the end of the world and killing Obama at the more recent rallies. I don't think McCain knows what to do with them. He's got a tiger -- or maybe I should say a hyena -- by the tail.
