Over a year ago, we embarked on a kitchen remodeling project and chose KitchenAid appliances. Unfortunately for us, at that time the new models were not on display and we selected them from a catalog. The microwave and the refrigerator are fine, but the range is ugly. It is a stainless steel model with a serious issue with the top panel. The model # is KESS908SPS00. The top panel is dented and wavy and shows buffing swirls. It is a huge detraction form the overall effect we had hoped to achieve. Folks enter our 90,000 dollar project and ask "what happened to your stove?" Two factory authorized servicers have been here several times each ... 7 replacement panels ... 6 calls to Kitchenaid ... no exaggeration! They cannot make this top panel without waves and dents and swirls. We went to Expo Design Center about two months ago and the saleswoman said ... "how do they expect us to sell those?" Again, we chose a new model from a catalog. Dumb shit thing to do and we will never make that mistake again. My reason for posting this is to warn you about making the mistake that we made: Specifically: 1/ Do not trust the brand "KitchenAid." 2/ Do not order new models from a catalog. 3/ Do not expect that there is any way to get what you paid for (as to your expectations). 4/ Kitchenaid can't make a stainless steel top panel.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
