Amana refrig

My Amana Refrigerator/Freezer Mod#ARB2214CC maintains a 38F temperature in
the refrigerator at he warmest thermostat setting.  I find this too cold for
my beer.  I called Amana to determine the temperatures I can expect from the
thermostat range.
Their answer "no one here knows, be happy it's 38F, the preferred
temperature"  Simpletons all!  How do they stay in business?
Do any readers know what temperature range the thermostat should provide?
