Sorry if this isn't the place for small appliances, but I could find no other relevant newsgroups on my ISP. I have this old vac and cannot find any info whatsoever online after quite a bit of Googling. It needs a new belt which would be easily enough obtained, but I would like to know whether this vac is worth much as a collectible, since it's apparently rare enough that there's no info on the net about it. From the silver foil label on bottom: Ser. 8922 Style DR1 CSA (rating symbol) LR-10182 Sears Canada Inc. MDL.C100- C36890 120V 60Hz 350 Watts Made In Canada Physical description: This white handheld unit has a belt-driven roller brush at front, where the casing accepts the gray snap-on hose (wide mouth hose shroud at this end). The hose itself is 1.5" (38mm) diameter and 3.5' (1.07m) long. There's a tapered 2.375" (60.325mm) up to 2" (50.8mm) red plastic logo plate screwed onto the front 2" (50.8mm) above the bottom of the roller brush area -- "Kenmore DIRTPirate" is painted white on the plate. The body is 5" (127mm) wide x 4.25" (107.95mm) high (not including the bag, handle, roller brush or intake sections). Roller brush section is 7" (177.8mm) wide x 2.5" (63.5mm) deep (front to rear). The slide-type power switch is located at the top of the unit at the forward most point of the 1.375" (34.93mm) wide handle. The gray, non-polarized power cord exits the rear of handle and is 20' (6.1m) in length. The rear of the handle is separate from the main body. The bag is red cloth with a plastic rim which snap-locks onto the body rear over a rubber seal. The bag has "Kenmore DIRTPirate" printed on it in faint white and has a faint white checkerboard pattern.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
