Multi Vender Ecommerce Pay and download

I am looking for a ecommerce program that would allow users to
register as vendors and upload and sell e-products. Than other regular
users can pay and download those products.

I was looking threw Joomla but I couldent find any thing dependable.
xcart has a egoods program, but it lacks serious controls and is not
going to be dependable.

Please let me know if any thing comes to mind.
