A few days ago I went to see a friend in Newington, CT. As I went north on the Berlin Turnpike from Meriden, CT. I noticed all the gas prices. Some as low as $4.03 to a high of $4.18 for regular gas. Some stations offered a lower price if you paid cash. The price of gas must come down. The Oil producing nations are only hurting themselves. Everywhere I look I see gas stations closing. Why? When the price was low people would buy gas 3 or 4 times a week. Now, myself included, they only buy once a week. Lower sales means less money and the station owners are forced to close. I saw gas stations in Meriden, Wallingford, and Southington, CT. that have turned off the pumps and locked their doors! I hope the price continues to go down, if not, I'm sure you'll see more stations close as time goes on! High gas prices will hurt us all, the motorist as well as the station owners! ~Tom Coss~ Meriden, Connecticut 06450 USA http://www.tomcoss.net[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
