BENNINGTON, Vt. — A Bennington police officer says he’s going to run for Bennington County
sheriff next year while serving in Afghanistan with the Vermont National Guard.
Officer John Behan is due to leave within the next few weeks for the tour where he will
serve as a squad leader.
