Like I said, In Edge of Darkness the tragedy is already present in
film quality due to its vaccumous nature. It means relationship is
not truely maeuve. As though God were somehow cloaked in emptiness
dressed in black. As such he is no archetypical figure which resorts
to the fact that he is a common man suffering the same condition as
all humans do.. This way it gives him the bridge by which he can
explain the collective nature of man..Quentin's characters are not
correlative. Actually, they are not even negatively correlated with
God where in Clash of the Titans man's nature is correlative to God's
nature..and from this premise the man-God stands as the Grand
Inquisitioner. As Saving Private Ryan implies that the hero is the
Godman, not the man-God as Hitler is thus the man-God..Spielburg
implies that life is a dream. But later on the response to their war
movies in Hurt Locker is that life is not a dream, dispelling the
romance in battle as a current day Medieval Romance of long time Ago..
