I'm a big Jeff Lynne - Fan since I was 12 or 13 and heard "Sweet talking Woman". Shortly after that I saw "The Empire strikes back" and left the cinema, knowing that I want myself become a filmdirector to araise emotions on other people, making them love, cry. I dreamed of making a SF-Film with "Time". Also I want to make musicvideos to "Fire on High" with Angels flying and dancing in a old castle, where the casmera moves through the whole rooms. "No Way Out" would look like the Film "Sur". "Birmingham Blues & Wild West Hero" will be a Wesatern like Kevin Costner's "Dancing with Wolves". "Julie don't live here" would be a Lovestory with a steam train coming around a curve, a boy leaves the train and moves a hill up to Julie's house. "A perfect world of Life" should be like "Robin Hood" where Bryan Adam's "Everything I do" became famous while Jeff's "Wild Times" got under at the final credits. I'd like to use 20 E.L.O.-Songs, starting with "Prologue & Twilight", moving further with "Stepping out", "Thunder & Lightning", "Big Wheels", "Night in the City", and "Hold on Tight" at the End, but without the Epilogue. But I never got a permission to use them. So I started to make my own melodies, so that i can make the movie anyway. But I always had Jeff on my Mind as my Anthony, who becomes a Popstar and records his own Album and marries his beautiful girlfriend Sandy at the end. The Film will be dedicated to Jeff as my Album "The second Light Orchestra" also is. You can listen to all my melodies on www.myspace.com/paulraab www.myspace.com/2ndlightorchestra www.myspace.com/secondlightorchestra I hope and wish Jeff listen's to them someday and sings it self and makes E.L.O.-Songs out of them. Now I see it as ""Honest Men" from Eric Troyer and something like between "Idle Race", "Travelling Wilburys", "No Answer", "On the 3rd Day", "Eldorado", "Face the Music", "Cloud Nine", "Full Moon Fever", or Bob Dylan's "Under the red Sky" ans "Handy Dandy". A famous Newspaper in Graz (the Hometown of our Arnold Schwarzenegger) with 300.000 Readers wrote that I try to revive E.L.O. I hope you see it like that, too. I always wait for the next Jeff Lynne - Song since 1980. (My whole Life). I collected all Songs from him. Ringo Starr's "Weight of the World" sounded for me like a Jeff Lynne - Production. And the Cut "True Love" on www.myspace.com/monkeydenrecording sounds also like a Jeff - Tune, though it isn't. And "Fiona" there is also nice. I will buy 4 Synthesizer's in the next months so that I can try to create a sound like "A new world Record" till "Time" and "Buildings have Eyes", "Love changes all", "Julie don't live here", "Second Time Around", "Surrender", "Iceman", and "After all". I hope I get it someday. E.L.O., Queen, Pink Floyd, Vangelis, Dire Straits ans Alan Parsons Project are still the best Sounds created ever. I hope I get someday anything like that.
