Tesco worker Jamal Bakhit, 25, packed Rahmona Ahmedin's corpse into two suitcases, it was claimed. A lorry driver discovered the blazing body and thought it was a dummy. Mark Heywood, prosecuting, said Bakhit stabbed Rahmona, 23, in Islington, North London, when she ended the relationship. He told the jury at Snaresbrook: "He couldn't stand her to be with anyone else." The body was found by the A1301 in Cambs. The ex-criminology student from Fulham, denies murder.
