diamonnd xs71 sound board question

i got a diamond xtreme sound xs71 sound board.

after a couple days, i find that the config icon on taskbar is missing.
going to the control panel, i also find that if i click on the xtreme sound
icon. nothing happens.

i tried removing the driver and reinstalling it. but i still get the same
problem.

does anyone know how to get the config program to come back.
