*Everyone* who thinks they have an open mind
*must* read Shock Doctrine!

I bought Shock Doctrine only a month or two
ago and haven't even finished it yet, but
Ms. Klein is already my #1 heroine.  (I'm
reading it slowly partly because I get too
filled with disgust with the neocons to
continue.)  One thing I didn't realize before
reading the book is that the tragic down-spiral
in post-invasion Iraq (looting, etc.) was *not*
a result of Cheney-Rumsfeld incompetence but
was *deliberate.*  (This isn't just Klein's
"theory": she quotes the neocons themselves to
that effect.)

Amusing that the right-wing idiots in these
newsgroups haven't responded.
Actually, *read a book*???  Nah...
