Iran Suggestion For Bush

I suggest that Bush go on national TV and say "I hereby offer to
normalize diplomatic and economic relations with Iran, in return for the
following small favors:"

I: Assist us in stabilizing Iraq so that our troops can withdraw (no
more military aid to Iraqi militias).

II: Freeze your uranium enrichment and other nuclear programs, and open
them up to full international inspection.  In return, we will pressure
Israel to give up its nuclear weapons.

III: Stop talking about "wiping Israel off the map", and start peace
talks with Israel.  Stop aiding Hezbollah and Hamas.

IV: Release Haleh Efsandiari, a 67 year old grandmother and
Iranian-American scholar who heads the Middle East programs for the
Woodrow Wilson International Center in Washington, D.C.  Iran arrested
her a few weeks ago and is holding her in Tehran's notorious Evin
prison.
