There are probably more felons at large in the nation than are incarcerated.
This mass of people would include those on parole, those who have never been
convicted (like O.J. Simpson or Barack Obama's friend, admitted terrorist
bomber William Ayers, now an education teacher at the University of
Illinois, felons who have served very short lenient sentences, others who
have been released prematurely for "good behavior" etc. etc. What is the
nation going to do with this human scum? If you have ever watched a reality
TV cop show like "The First Forty-Eight", "American Justice",
"Cops" etc.
you have to become very pessimistic about U.S. society, and the criminal
justice system. Most cops do an excellent job but it is a Sisophyian
struggle. The justice and penal systems are a joke like they are in Canada.
Strange, isn't it, that the decay of law-and -order, to my knowledge has
never been discussed by politicians seeking office?
