The Difference

President Obama donned his commander-in-chief's hat for this morning's
weekly address, somberly discussing Thursday's tragedy at Fort Hood and
tying it into next week's observance of Veterans Day.

Promising that the FBI is looking into the motivation behind the rampage,
the president reiterated that flags will be lowered to half mast from now
until next week's holiday in order to honor the wounded, the dead and the
grieving families at the military base.

Bush would've tried to duck the issue and said, "Well............
.............. ............  Ah'm waitin' fer da FBIee to con... conclu...
ah... finish dere lookin' 'roun, den Ah'll issue a umm, state... statement."

Translation:  "Wot a fucks dey talkin' bout?"

A Muslim may have committed this act, but the act was committed by the man,
not the faith. I'm very glad Obama made it clear that our Army is strong, in
part, because of its religious diversity.
