This whole affair was the COVER STORY of the 24h newspaper Wednesday
October 14, 09 issue whose title read: "Most riders OK with TTC
crackdown
on manners".

The headline raises several questions.

WHO! is OK with this?

MOST! riders?

Says ... WHO?

NO! SUPPORTING EVIDENCE for these NEW! TTC IMPOSITIONS was provided.

The title was just *CRASS* FASCIST! Police State *PROPAGANDA*.


ABUSIVE! Gov't

By nickel+diming Torontonians with ALL! sorts *SNEAKY* tax INCREASES
the City of Toronto pockets MORE $$$.

NOW! with the TTC fine INCREASES! with the TTC providing MORE! REASONS
to
justify the levying of the HIGHER FINES, it means MORE $$$ for the
TTC.

In turn, this means LESS $$$ in the pockets of Torontonians.

This is a sad story of Torontonians TRAPPED! by an ABUSIVE! Government
apparatus
that just doesN'T! CARE bent on torturing Torontonian.


Tourists, BEWARE!

When visiting Toronto you will be stepping on A MINE FIELD when you
step onto the
TTC premises.

If you put your pack sack on an empty seat beside them,
YOU WILL BE FINED!

If you put your foot up on a seat,
YOU WILL BE FINED!

If you enter TTC premises illegally - unbeknownst to you,
YOU WILL BE FINED!

If your TTC proof of purchase has expired,
YOU WILL BE FINED!

Littering.

Smoking.

Blocking doors.

FINED! FINED!

WELCOME!! to the City of Toronto.


HELLS ANGELS Rip! OFF Toronto?

If it's TRUE,
the HELLS ANGELS (backed by the CIA) run Toronto,
then it's the USA that's Ripping! OFF Torontonians, right?

*KEY* QUESTION:
WHAT %age of City of Toronto contracts benefit
US companies or Canadian companies owned by the US companies?

If the USA is RIPPING! us OFF, as I suspect,
all I can think to say is: "GEE, THANKS! for being our BEST! FRIEND."


TTC Code of Conduct?

The INCREASED! TTC fines associated with the INFRACTIONS are
presented
in the context of the "TTC Code of Conduct".

WHO KNEW that the TTC had a "Code of Conduct"?

The WHOLE MATTER has the optics of a RIP-OFF! SCHEME.


TOO! Much

The fines are EXORBITANT!

There are two (2) fines:
i. $195+$35 the victim surcharge = $230
ii. $345+$75 the victim surcharge = $420


Questions:
1. is this what TTC transit users WANT?
2. is this CRACK! DOWN on *bad manners* NECESSARY?


Answers:
NO!+NO!


These HIGHER! fines are MORE! "onerous" for the FINANCIALLY VULNERABLE
who'll have GREATER DIFFICULTY paying them.

More importantly, did they SURVEY the TTC user to get their input?

NO!

It's purely an authoritarian, FASCIST measure.


NO! Warning

PLUS! the fines will be levied by the TTC Police WITHOUT WARNING -
except
in the case of priority seating - when someone refuses to give up his/
her seat to
someone who is deserving of priority seating.

This is like SLAYING FISH IN A BARREL - except THE SUCKERS are THE
POOR
taxpayers who (unable to afford a car) are forced to use the TTC.


OVER! Policing - NOT! OK

MORE SINISTER YET!

It's THE INHERENT APPROVAL of the OVER! POLICING of TTC transit users.

Moreover, it ENTRENCHES! A **BIG! BROTHER** MENTALITY whose effect is
THE EROSION OF PRIVACY making Canadians feel violated by their
Government.

Cameras follow transit users wherever they go on the TTC.

In addition to the camera surveillance, the transit users have to
contend with BOTH
the Toronto Police+TTC Police as BOTH are on the TTC premises.

The transit users can likely count on the TTC Police to do their best
to levy as many
fines as possible to justify their job.

OVER! POLICING creates UNNECESSARY AGGRAVATION+FRUSTRATION for the
transit users.

IT'S just NOT! GOOD BUSINESS to treat clientele as JAIL INMATES.

1. the Government did NOT! want to EXPAND the Access to Information
Act
preferring SECRECY.

2. the Government is DOUBLING! the $$$ being spent on the construction
of what are PIGSTY!!! JAILS that DEMORALIZES inmates and that are
more+more run by private US firms in Canada.

will get a professional orientation so they can live a

of government that DOES THE MINIMUM! for Canadians.

THERE IS NO! LONG-TERM PLANNING.

There is NO! INTENTION to REDISTRIBUTE THE WEALTH for A STRONGER
ECONOMY STRONGER, MORE PROSPEROUS SOCIETY that will GENERATE

They doN'T want Canadians to know where their tax $$$ are going -

Canadians have NO! IDEA WHERE+ON WHAT the $$$ is being spent -

Government employees doN'T know why decisions are made: they're kept

CONSTANT STATE OF CONFUSION which creates STRESS+LOW MORALE.

Has THE EXTENSION to Employ Insurance (EI) legislation been passed?

NO!

In fact, the NDP has promised the minority Conservative Party
Government
their FULL SUPPORT until the EI legislation goes through.

When will that be - late NEXT YEAR?

Does Parliament care?

Guess NOT!

Parliamentarians get their bi-weekly cheques while those who run out
of EI
get NOTHING!
