-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- The phrase "passive resistance" is something of an oxymoron, because even non-violent resisters are by action opposed to whatever, or whomever, he or she is non-violently resisting. And this can take many forms, from silent prayer, to almost, but not quite, inciting riots and provoking world war three, from vengeful hexes and incantations, to civil disobedience, noncooperation, noncompliance, protests, boycotts, "sit-ins", information and disinformation warfare, and all expressions of the arts, music, poetry, entertainment, film, television, radio, books, periodicals, leaflets, pamphlets, you name it. Passive resisters have tried everything in the book to make their opposition to someone or something, mainly government and big business, known to everyone within earshot, even to God Almighty, and to the Devil himself, if it were possible. This is where the Darwinian animal instinct often rears its ugly head, because when push comes to shove, the vulnerable become so passionate, so desperate, they are inclined to do one of two things: 1) stop resisting, or 2) resort to violence. Option one is, of course, the only practical option, unless you happen to have nuclear missiles and weaponized virus at your disposal? Because that's what the government has. They own and control everything, and you own and control nothing. Yet that's the irony of it, that sin has a chain of custody in time. The rich and powerful in this lifetime, become the poor and downtrodden in their next lifetime. The victimizer literally becomes their victim in time, time being judgment. So you see, while it's easy feel angry and vengeful towards evildoers, it's equally as easy to feel pity and compassion for their victims. Since the latter had previously been the former, it's role-reversal in action, victim and victimizer. Once you realize this, that no sinner ever really gets away with anything, the apparent injustice of the age is in fact God's perfect justice eternally at work, reaping and sowing, and that's how it's always been, clear back to Cain slaying Abel, who was karmically-marked to become the victim of the wages of sin, which is death, Cain taking that karma off of his brother, murdering him and taking the mark upon himself, this is the mark of sin, the darkened aura of vulnerability that makes them susceptible to death, in danger of judgment. Whether this comes by acts of providence, or at the hand of violent men, it makes little or no difference to the victim. But it makes all the difference to the victimizer, whom God, Jesus Christ, Moses and the Prophets, saints and sages from across continents and long centuries concertedly warned not to take the mark off of sinners, but leave vengeance to God. Judge not, lest ye be judged. You see, stay with option one, because if you resist divine justice, "resistance is futile". Any dis-easing of the soul will result in dis-easing of the body, whether to become victims of violence, injustice, etc, or to become afflicted by any natural disease, any sickness or illness, any physical, mental and/or spiritual suffering. In fact it's the spiritual hardships which are the worst of all, the dark night of the soul, the feeling of abandonment. And that's not a good feeling. It hurts worse than any pain. Yet soul, being Immortal, always survives it. Paradise lost, Paradise found, it's the classic theme of the battle of the Titans versus the Olympians through the planetary cycles of life, death, and rebirth, cycles of karma and reincarnation. And that's the primary theme of Christianity, that the soul of Jesus learned by experience to stop making bad karma for himself, by following the Ten Commandments and Golden Rules. And this is why Jesus earned the reputation of being "above the angels", because he did what no one else was able to do. He set the pattern, and instructed us to follow the pattern, each in our own Individual way, all men being Created equal. So you see, there really is nothing to protest or passively resist, much less to actively resist. Let this world go her own way. Mighty empires rise and fall. This Empire is about to fall. There is nothing to protest. But only to celebrate. Armageddon Cometh, Daniel Joseph Min http://www.angelfire.com/moon2/danieljosephmin/ -- I do not subscribe to usenet newsgroups.
