Earthquakes

Earthquakes are a literal divion of the land, aren't they?
Could they be a literal 'answer' to the attempt to divide (up) the land
of Israel, to form a Two-State Solution? (If that is the solution, what is
the problem?)
Hal Lindsey said that earthquakes began to increase slightly after the
formation of the State of Israel in 1948, and significant earthquakes have
become much more frequent in the last years, in which the world has had more
significant earthquakes in a year than in previous decades.
This does not scientifically explain what is causing the earthquakes;
one wonders if G-d is slowly getting angry? If so, it might also be hard to
assuage.
What I am worried about is the volcanoes. Aren't you? I mean, now and
then.
