http://www.pr-inside.com/admn-politician-clash-on-srinagar-economic-blockade-r759893.htm 2008-08-18 07:47:21 - Economic blockade to Srinagar for more than twenty days has put the Jammu and Kashmir politics and its people making protest along with hardliners.Coordination Committee, led by both factions of Hurriyat, and represented by various political, religious, social and traders organizations, also urged people to assemble at TRC Ground on Monday, where 'leadership would address them and afterwards memorandum would be submitted to the United Nations Office at Sonwar.' The programme was announced by the chairmen of both the Hurriyats in a joint press conference at Syed Ali Shah Geelani's Hyderpora residence. DC said, 'Last few days of observation is that despite calls of peaceful protests from Hurriyat leaders, frenzy crowds have created a lot of trouble. Recently Srinagar Development Authority building at Bemina was damaged. Today supply tankers and trucks were attacked despite no strike call. And as District Magistrate, I've to take these things into consideration.' 'If a huge crowd assembles at the City center, there would be law and order problem,' he added.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
