When I signed up for Direct TV I only got one room hooked up. I was going to get 3, but the tech was going to be running cables all over the front and sides of the house. I ran the cables myself nicely and neatly and called back to see if I can get another couple of boxes installed and they want 69 for std and 99 for hd boxes and a rental fee on top. I am shocked because when I was going to do it at time of install it was going to be just rental fees for the boxes and free install and activation. Now it is a total of 168 for the two boxes, $50 to activate plus shipping!!!!! If I buy a box elsewhere like eBay or a friend (assuming it is not stolen or something) is this just something I can hook in and call DTV to tell them to activate it. Best Buy and other places also sell the boxes too.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
