All: In my meandering into Facebook, I found this recent photo series on a recent outdoor (Verona) performance of "Tosca", where one Mario Velucci provided numerous audience and backstage photos at: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pidƒ531&id02655281&comments=&alert=#/photo. php?pidƒ545&id02655281&comments .. Prominent is the apparently now standard boom mic. See Mario's photos 11-14) . This of course is the remedy for good amplification without feedback...
