Societies influence on sports

We were having a discussion in class about sports influence on society and when i got home, i thought, well how about societies influence on sports? I want to bring this up at the next class, so if anyone can think of ways society has an influence on sports, i can offer that in the discussion. Some of my thoughts were how sports has changed over the years with the media saturation of just about every sport imaginable offered 24/7 on cable,satellite, or internet due to fan demand. Also, the Super Bowl, due to its popularity has changed from a simple game to three plus hours of pre-game, post-game, half-time entertainment.Even March Madness has taken on a new look with all the advertising, sponsorships etc.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
