Tree sap on the table

I've got a cheapie indoor style table that I coated with 2 layers of
polyurethane so I could leave it outdoors.  It is under a large spruce tree
that gives good shade, but also drips some sticky sap on the table.  I can't
change the location and am having a hard time wiping off the sap.

What solvent could I use that dissolves sap, but not polyurethane?
