Ar you serious about that? He was the backup C this year. With Bynum
back, Mihm healthy and DJ Mbenga as a last possibility (plus Gasol
that played C all year) I don't think he's needed at all.

I don't think he wants to invest them all on Turiaf...

In this case, If Cupchak is not an idiot, he will wait next year when
he'll be a restricted free agent and he will have shown us if he's
really healthy. Why giving him a max contract NOW when he cannot ask
for more next year? Just for the sake of taking a risk?

He was a non-factor in the finals. Our bench was outplayed both by San
Antonio's and Boston's. And Turiaf was supposed to be one of the bench
leaders. My personal preference is Odom going to the second unit (and
improving it a lot), Farmar getting a lot better (after all he's just
22), Ariza getting healthy and ready.
So the second unit would be Farmar, Vujacic (or a shooter like Posey
(unlikely) in the FA market), Ariza, Radmanovic (my personal
preference is for Luke to start), Odom and Mihm (very little used, as
Bynum and Gasol should share nearly all the minutes at C, while Odom
must play big minutes at PF). Plus Karl, Mbenga and some other scrubs
as bench-warmers.
