Not true. I judge them only on decisions and all the things I
mentioned. Rafa is OK, but only if you don't expect tactical boldness
and confidence. He has won the FA Cup, and has done well in the CL Cup ,
and that is the only reason that he has any support. I dont rate that
competition very highly ( the only conclusion you can come to if your
really look closely at it without bias ) so I am not carried away by
his "penalties" aided record, particularly when gained at the expense of
drab league performances.

His selection and changes in the last CL final were very poor. His win
in the first one extremely lucky. His rotation ideas have no logic
unless he has greatly over estimated the quality of the squad players he
has spent £150M on.

His club are in the same position he found them in where it matters
most. Jose had plenty of cash at Chelsea, but he did more than most
expected, and I fancy that starting on a level playing field his talents
would far outweigh Rafas. Whatever Joses personality problems, he knows
about motivation ( a major Rafa weakness) team spirit and man management
plus blending individuals into a team. He is tactically far bolder and
more confident than Benitez.

So are plenty of others.
