I really liked the end. Leave your small quibbles and unexplained questions behind, and take it for what it was. Some of the best TV special effect battle scenes ever done. Predictable you say? Just how many ways could they have ended it? It's all pretty much been done, so to me it was the method and execution that counted, and this one was very satisfying. The darkness was gone, and his atempt at Serling-like irony was fine as well. Personally I thing I'm finished with this show. I'm sure we'll give the various spin-offs a try, but I can't see myself watching reruns, as in Star Trek. -- "When you win, nothing hurts"....
