OK everybody, I've got a question for each of you out there who think they have better sense than Paramount in editing the Star Trek movies. I'm one of those guys who has so much time on his hands that I like spending the time I have re-editing movies I kinda of like but feel would be better if certain scenes were removed, other moved around, and the movie edited down for a better flow. So what I wanna know is this: if you had the opportunity (and the software), what changes would you make to the first Star Trek movie (TMP). Make it shorter, make it longer, re-arrange scenes, cut out complete sub-plots, re-insert deleted scenes, remove whole characters, change the ending? I'm interested in whatever ideas you have. And those ideas will be used along with mine to transform ST:TMP into a much better flowing movie worth watching again and again. One note, though. Stick only to what's commercially available on the known releases as that's what I've got to work with. Thanks in advance for your time and input, Redbeard[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
