(PhillyBurbs.com) - Novelist-turned-filmmaker Nicholas Meyer wrote "The Seven-Per-Cent Solution" (a best-selling mystery teaming Sherlock Holmes and Sigmund Freud) and directed two "Star Trek" movies (1982's "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" and 1991's "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country") during his career.
