'Off her Trolley' looks at the effects of Alzheimers' disease for the individual, their loved ones and their carers, and it illustrates the shortcomings of private care, but its positive, and I'd like to think, uplifting, as well. Elderly people , and especially those with dementia, do not have a voice, but as a carer I hear their voices, and I see who they are. Its natural for me to show how communication is possible, even when it seems its not, and to share with you the positive things that older people can teach us. for more information please visit: www.eleanorbennet.com The play has been nominated for the Amnesty International / The Big Issue Freedom of Expression Award.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
