We have recently added other types of dogs such as dogs that find guns and drugs in schools. We've been doing this since 2003 and have got it all running very smoothly with the exception of being able to find any major source(s) of funding. > > > > > And yet, I know that you (as I would in your shoes) will muddle > > through because you are strong and determined and you know you are > > doing good and making a difference in the world. This sounds so much like my situation. I deplore talking to people I don't know. Especially people I have to ask to do something for me (like donate time, money, etc). My friend is definitely our mouthpiece. He can talk to anyone about anything. Me, I fade into the background--only sticking my head out when I am forced to (which he does to me on a somewhat regular basis). It scares the heck out of me, but I always feel better about myself after I do it. You can still talk to your friend about what you want. You just have to listen a little more intently for his responses. Remember, he knew you could do this or he wouldn't have taken on such a project with you. Btw, my friend has some rather big health issues that make him being healthy long enough to see what we are doing through to a financial success rather doubtful. It terrifies me to think that I might be left with trying to run all of this without him. I doubt my abilities. But we have already done so much good and made a difference in so many people's lives that I couldn't let those doubts stop me. > > > > > Remember to take good care of yourself along the way..... > > Thanks so much for the vote of confidence, Domino.
