is there good & bad?(was Re: desultory array)

everything "we" (humanity) know is something that we "made," imo, or
in
accordance w/my way of thinking about stuff.

i perceive/construct sx as a positive, intimate expression between
people.  i choose other terms to describe other & less positive expressions,
activities, experiences...

i disagree.
i even think that it is important for us to do so -- to mark a
divide between the two.  i would not be able to make clear decisions about
what i should & shouldn't do w/out a clear idea of ethics.

i recognize a fluid quality or aspect to ethics on a global scale.  they
seem to be guided by theology for the most part, which varies a loy
according to mant factors.
some use philosophy to construcy & determine ethics.  i do.  obviously
philosophy varies as well as theology.
so. i conclude that ongoing, focused, deliberate dialog about ethics
is imperative among all ppl, between & across all cultural boundaries,
divides, barriers, etc.  it (ethics) must, imo, be the center of diplomacy
for diplomacy to succeed.  & it is equally essential, i think, to personal,
individual relationships.

this way of thinking affects & motivated my response to a recent, spoilrd
post by astri.
